This is an on-line copy of the Events Calendar published in The Vintage Ford magazine. Submissions are to the magazine editor as described below. Activities will be listed at no charge to any antique car club, regardless of affiliation, on a space available basis. Please allow for publication time.

JUNE 13-14—Farmington, Minnesota. The 19th annual Model T Ford Reunion will again be based at the Dakota County Fairgrounds in Farmington. Tour will start at 9 a.m. on Saturday, June 13. Show and swap meet will be on Sunday, June 14. The event is sponsored by the North Star State, T Totalers, and Minnesota Valley Model T Clubs. JUNE 21-25—Livingston, Montana. The Montana 500 Cross Country Association is hosting its 49th annual Montana 500 cross country race for stock Model T Fords. For information, go to www.montana500.com

JULY 3-5—Colville, Washington. Panorama Land 2009, sponsored by the Spokane Model T Club, will be a tour of the rivers, lakes, and forests of northeastern Washington. For information, go to or call 509-448-2506. Registration closes May 15, 2009.

JULY 8-12—THE 3rd ANNUAL INTERNATIONAL SPEEDSTERS TRIALS & REUNION will be held at the Smith Collection Museum of American Speed in Lincoln, NE.
Wednesday evening, July 8, "Speedy" Bill and Joyce Smith will host a welcome dinner at the Smith Collection Museum, which will be open to Reunion attendees afterwards for leisure touring.
Thursday, July 9, Morning road tour, followed by an afternoon technical seminar(s) presented in the museum.  A tour of Lincoln's new International Quilt Study Center & Museum will be offered as an alternative to the technical seminar(s).
Friday, July 10, Morning hill climb, then a late afternoon show 'n shine car show in the neighboring town of Ceresco in celebration of the local Ford dealership's 100th year in business (the 5th oldest Ford dealership in the world!).  Celebrations also include a parade (Speedsters welcomed and encouraged to join), with fireworks after sunset.
Saturday, July 11, Morning tour of a local chassis dyno shop with the opportunity to dyno several of the Speedsters, followed by another technical seminar for Speedster builders.  Evening activities include dinner and awards for Friday's hill climb, and culminate with induction ceremonies for new members of the Speedsters and Racers Hall of Fame.
Sunday, July 12, Morning “Reunion Wrap-up” meeting at the Smith Collection Museum before most attendees depart for their respective next destinations.

JULY 11 & 12—Riverside, California. The 42nd Annual Antique Car Swap Meet, Parts Exchange and Pancake Breakfast, sponsored by the Riverside Corona Chapter of the MTFCA. July 12—Northcoast (Ohio) Model T club chapter of MTFCA Sunday Ice Cream Social. 1 to 5 p.m. at the Lorain County Historical Society - 509 Washington Ave. Elyria, OH 44035. (30 miles west of Cleveland) Reserved parking for Model Ts. How about pie or cake and ice cream for $5. Displays, free Garford Mansion Museum tours, College jazz band, vintage running board cars (AACA) and other activities. No reservation or fees - just show up. Great opportunity for a hike or car photos. Nature park with two waterfalls two blocks away.

August 1-2Long Beach Model T Club Vintage and Classic Parts Exchange and Swap Meet. at Los Alamito race Course at 4961 Katella Ave, Los Alamitos CA 90720. Vendors start at 5:30am Saturday and Sunday. AUGUST 21-23—Block Island, Rhode Island. The Connecticut Crankin’ Yanks are hosting a 2-1/2 day tour along the Atlantic Ocean to see the sights along Rhode Island Sound, including a ferry trip to Block Island. All Ts are welcome. AUGUST 31-SEPTEMBER 4—Out in Paradise Tour, Jackson Hole, WY, Hosted by the Grand Teton Model T’s Chapter of the Model T Ford Club of America. Tour will be based out of the Virginian Lodge and RV Park in Jackson Hole WY. You will need a Golden Eagle Pass Port or purchase a daily or weekly pass from Grand Teton National Park. Aug. 31st - Monday - Participants will be able to check in the Virginian Lodge after 3pm. The Virginian will allow us to show our cars on their front lawn along the main road to town. Dinner will be on your own at one of Jackson’s many fine restaurants. This will be a time to meet old friends and make some new ones. You can work on your car and get it to run at 6200 ft. on the valley floor. You should fill your gas tank and do a little test drive.
Sept. 1st – Tuesday - We will begin the Tour with an Opening breakfast at the Virginian. Next we will have an orientation by the tour director. This will give you all the information you need for a successful first day of the tour. We will answer any questions you might have. Then get ready for a great day of touring in one of the most beautiful places on earth. We will depart from the Virginian going up to Gros Ventre. We will visit a dude ranch where the owner has a car collection which includes a rare Center Door Model T along with other very interesting rare cars. Next we will drive up to the Gros Ventre Slide. We’ll continue to the Upper Slide Lake boat ramp. Next we will go to Dornan’s at Moose, WY. We will have lunch on your own at Dornan’s. Then we will visit the new Rockefeller Visitor Center. Next stop will be at the Chapel of the Transfiguration, the Murie`s house and the Craigheads place. After looking at the historical sites at Moose, we will continue toward Teton Village. The Opening Banquet will be at the Virginian this evening.
Sept. 2nd – Wednesday - We will begin with a driver’s meeting at the Virginian. We will see a lot of the area in Grand Teton Park. We will drive north of Jackson to Moran, WY., and go to Turpin Meadows Ranch where we will have lunch. We will also take a photo of the cars with the Tetons in the background. After lunch we will drive back to the Moran entrance station and enter the park. We will go to Jackson Lake Dam and go south through the park. Next stop, Moose, WY. We will visit GTNP visitor center and many scenic and historical sites during this day’s tour. Dinner tonight will be at the famous Bar J Chuck Wagon for dinner and a show.
Sept. 3rd – Thursday – After the driver’s meeting at the Virginian, we will drive to Colter Bay and will have lunch on your own at one of the Colter Bay restaurants. Then on to Leeks Lodge. We have a special presentation from the University of Wyoming Leeks Marina set up. We will visit many scenic sites and museums along the way. On the way back to town, we will take the inner park loop road and see some incredible scenery. Dinner is on your own tonight.
Sept. 4th – Friday – After the driver’s meeting, we begin the day at Teton Village and ride the Aerial tram if you choose to. After a look around Teton Village and lunch at one of the many restaurants, we will drive to the Snake River Ranch for a look at ranching now and as it was in the past. Then back to Jackson to visit the Elk Refuge visitor center, the Miller House, Fish hatchery and Jackson Hole Museum. Also we have a guided tour of the town for those who pre-registered. Space is limited to TWO 25 person groups due to the availability of the guide. He presents a very good 1 ¼ hour tour. World Class shopping is available in down town Jackson Hole if you like. Closing banquet is tonight at the Virginian Convention Center.

SEPTEMBER 8-13—Branson, Missouri. The 26th Annual Hillbilly Tour 2009 will be held in the heart of the Ozarks amidst the hills and hollers of Branson, Missouri. Farewell, Yocu, and Blue Eye to name a few. A visit to Branson wouldn't be complete without a show or two! So daily plans are to take you to a great Branson morning show followed by a challenging drive after lunch. Several evenings you will be free to enjoy the fun-filled Branson nightlife as you desire. SEPTEMBER 13—The 9th Annual Antique Autos in History Park presented by the Santa Clara Valley Model T Ford Club and History San Jose will take place on Sunday, September 13 from noon to 5:00 PM. This event fills History Park (Kelley Park, 1650 Senter Road, San Jose, CA) with antique autos, fire equipment, bicycles and motorcycles of all makes from the 1900 to 1945. Also located on the grounds will be early day gas engines which will power saws, washing machines and other tools needed in the early days. Activities are provided for kids of all ages. This year, members of the Model T Club will again attempt to assembly a Model T in less than 6 minutes. The event is free to everyone. SEPTEMBER 26-30—Rockville, Indiana. The Indy 500 Chapter is hosting its 2009 Parke County, Indiana Covered Bridge & Wallace Model T Garage Tour. Tour is limited to 100 cars, so hurry.
