This is one of the most often seen of the many photos taken on Edsel Ford's trip from Detroit to the San Francisco World's Fair in 1915. Note the special cowl ventilator, and wire wheels (which make the car easy to identify!). It is interesting to note that the car began the journey with wire wheels all around. Somewhere on the trip, they had some trouble with the wheels, and the car continued for some distance with wire wheels on two wheels, and wood spokes on the other two! There are several other photos of this car with wood and wire wheels two and two.
