When I started seeing the "landscape" and "portrait" designations in recent years I was mystified, but eventually figured out they mean horizontal and vertical. (When did we adopt the British term roundabout for traffic circles? And start saying "graduate high school" and "year anniversary"?)

Anyway, when I have a vertical photo show up turned horizontal I go back to the original and rotate it 90º left, then back 90º right (or vice versa) and it posts correctly. I have no idea why this works, but it does.

What procedure are you doing when you try and post? What is your results? Are you getting the yellow warning or? Are you using Windows 10 or Apple? This test picture is 4000 x 3000 and 2.6 MB's. If you hold your mouse over the pictures you are trying to post what are there sizes?

How do you resize photos? Is there a program to download on the computer? David said size should not matter. I have noticed references to resizing so I am confused.

As Mark says, there's more than one way to skin that cat. There's the method David explained and I described in your previous post. There's also drag & drop as Mark described, like this:
IMG_0675 copy.JPG
I just dragged it into the composition box and clicked Place inline below the box.

Most of the photos I post are full size and I almost never have to shrink them.

If our instructions aren't clear enough to follow, have a kid teach you how.
:D

There is more than one way to post pictures. I use a small camera and take pictures in email mode for best results ie the smallest number of bits and bites. When you click on post a reply at the bottom of the page there is "ATTACHMENTS" click on that, then "ADD FILES" your picture library will be displayed click on the picture then click on "OPEN" it will return to your post then click on "PLACE IN LINE". For this procedure the photo would have to be previously down loaded in to your computer either in "PHOTOS" or on the thumb drive usually "E" file. All filed photos have an ident number if you know the file number you can enter that number in the space provided click on it to display the picture then click on the picture then open and you are there. When you have done it a few times it takes about about 5-10 seconds to post a photo.

Steve and I replied on your Sept 20 post. Did that work for you or are you still having issues? Size should not matter. Let us know. Good luck.

Usually, if you can get your photos onto the same PC as you are using to look at the forum, you can just click on the photo and drag it into the text box, that's all I did with this picture:
