It looks like it has perished. See the overlay map at https://www.bbc.com/news/world-us-canada-66465570
The museum address is 187 Prison Street, Lahaina
By using google maps to navigate the overlay map I would say it was definitely burned.

$440 in 1916 is equivalent in purchasing power to about $12,076.59 today.
Other cars on the lower side were around $2,500 which equates to more than $68,000.

I just have to make sure it does not get magneto voltage, right?
So, I can add one to my 1916 as an aftermarket accessory and still be period correct.

Re: Two Man Top Front Flap
So, if you have the flap, where does it go? Inside or outside?
My 16 touring top has a flap with a flat metal weight in the bottom.
I've never used the top. Can someone point me to a video on how to properly raise and lower the top?
Thank you,
Jeff

When was the first electric Klaxon horn introduced. What year would it have been an accessory?

Re: Original Smith Is Good For Our Hobby
While I agree that Original Smith, Joe Bell, Tim Wrenn and Art Mirtes are great contributors to the craft, I must add that Steve Jelf has been an invaluable resource since I acquired my T two years ago. Thanks, Steve. There are others who have given their time and help freely... Norman Kling, Allen ...

Charlie. In 1916 Henry Ford was well on his way to transforming the transportation industry while at the same time Charlie Chaplin was transforming the entertainment industry. Movies had been around just as long as automobiles but both needed that special person to make them into what they would be....

Re: Mysterious ticking from left rear wheel
Thanks Allen, Very good advice. Like I said the restoration was done 30 years ago and there were 2 shims. They had worn through is spots and the castle nut was loose after removing the cotter pin. The photo with the green arrows was from an earlier post that I used as an illustration. All 4 wheels h...

Re: Mysterious ticking from left rear wheel
I had the wheel off this morning. There were 2 paper thin shims in there and they were pretty beat up and worn through in some spots.
I ordered more from Lang's.
Will the whole axle need to be rebuilt?

Re: Please critique my 1916 Touring
It might be due to the wheels being turned to the left. It handles quite well at 35. So, I suppose it's OK.
Thanks for responding.

Hey guys, I inherited my dad's 1916 Touring. I would like some of you to go over the pictures and tell me what's right, what's wrong and anything else you might add. To begin with it is a 1916 (1222277), I have the original engine in my garage. It currently has a 1924 engine in it for ease of starti...

Re: Intermittent Electrical Contact - Suggestions?
Marv,
I have a '16 with a '24 motor and starter.
Besides the battery being a bit low the only thing I can think of is loose contacts at the starter button.
The same thing happened to me they felt tight, but I tightened it up and it started just like it always does.

Most municipalities have a hazardous waste clean up day. Check on your county website. You'll probably have to leave the container.

If I knew of a supplier that was having a online seminar or Webinar, could I notify people on this board that it was coming up and put a link here for them to sign up for the webinar?
Just curious if this would break the rules.

Re: New club member introduction
Welcome Mike, I use 30w oil. No multi viscosity for me, I live in the south where it is almost never under 50 degrees. I think any old 30 weight will do because it's better than what was generally available 100 years ago. I also use marvel mystery oil. You'll find a big discussion about that. My '16...
