Good observation - I didn't think of that. Probably a good idea to leave it for a car that's driven a lot... with my luck I'd pay to have it straightened and then bang a new dent in that very spot the next day!

Sadly I don't have any leads on original fenders that are salvageable, so I will be going with Rootlieb fenders. Their catalog has both early and late fenders... it would be interesting to know how many they sell of each type.

Nice find. I don't think there are very many sheet metal parts from a touring that can be used on the town car, unfortunately.
