Re: Main St.

Here's main street on my home town. I live two blocks from where the photo was taken and all the buildings are still there. Don't know what happened to the Model T. :(

Re: stromber "OF" carburetor literature

Here's a picture of what's in the kit for the OF:

As James said, a needle and a seat, the gaskets and a few screws

Re: Stromberg OF Needle

I bought one from a place called The Carburetor Shop. They have a kit for the OF. Looks good but I haven't tried to install it yet.

Re: Ellipitical Springs and Axle Whatizit?

Thanks again Donnie! I agree the rear setup is much better than the front. Auction (31).JPG Just am hoping to get the front figured out. I blew up the picture from the ad Dan Treace posted on a different thread and it looks like on this kit at least, there is a something a little more solid than ano...

Ellipitical Springs and Axle Whatizit?

So I bought this chassis with elliptical springs at the Model T Haven auction and now I’m trying to figure out what all the parts and pieces to it are. It appears to be a Model T frame with the front spring inverted and then attached to the suspension of and axle of another manufacturer. Plenty of e...

Re: Model T Haven

Ed, I would disagree that the auction was a disorganized mess. I was only able to stay for the first couple of hours but was surprised on how quick and efficient the auctioneers were. As for the large lots that I saw, they were opening bidding on all lots with choice so if there was anything of valu...

Re: We have arrived "Iola or Bust"

I stayed until noon today. I left before they got into the big piles of parts but I thought most stuff was selling cheap. All I bought was this frame with some crazy after-market springs. It has a dipped front axle and a Warford driveshaft I can use if nothing else.

I can't imagine them being able to auction all the parts Mark has in just two days. I fear a lot of it will go for scrap.

Here's another cut-away engine. This one is being auctioned in Lincoln Nebraska this weekend. Current bid is at $350.

Re: Compilation of Stan Howe Emails on Rebuilding Ruckstells

Thanks Mark! Stan's old ruckstell website, like most things on the internet, was archived and is still around.

Re: Canadian Ruckstell tags

Les,

I could really use one. The tag on my Ruckstell is the same as the picture you posted but is in poor shape.

Thanks

Stopped by for a few minutes this afternoon. Saw some wood fellow wheels, a 1914 or 15 engine, a few frames and lots and lots of lights....

Re: Lawrence Ks AACA Swap Meet

I usually find a few T things but not much. Last year there was a 26/27 roadster body that I am still kicking myself for not buying. Should be nice and muddy this year!

Re: Business for sale

Well I'm very sad to see Mark has his business up for sale. I was just there a couple of weeks ago and it is an amazing collection of cars and parts. I hope he is just ready to move on to something else in life and there aren't other reasons forcing him to offer it up.

Re: Model T Express Bed

Thanks for the information everyone. I was just searching for stuff to buy on the way to Chickasha and found it on the Wichita Craigslist listings. They are asking $750 if anyone has an interest. I don't have a TT so nothing I have a need for at the moment...

Model T Express Bed

This is being advertised as a Model T express bed. Can anyone confirm that is what it really is? If so, was it used on a regular Model T or a TT?

Thanks
