I have a friend who used one to create the top platform for a glass table (with hole in center for the hub) for a nice drink table for his Man-Cave. Looks great!

Perhaps you can find some interesting and useful thing, too... ;)

Martynn it's nice that you can relay your hot air pipe experience and not be shouted down on the Forum that you did NOT experience what you experienced and must be some sort of nut. Was that picture added later??? I don't recall it and honestly, it's PERFECT at that angle. It will very nicely direct the line over toward the frame WITHOUT an added bend. Run with it!

Permatex 2A schmeer on the threads, install, screw until it starts to snug a little and then position it where it needs to be BEFORE it is fully socked down It will be leak-proof forever and will stay put AND can still be taken off years later with a good wrench Good, Old-Fashioned product that does...

No help with assembly, Mark, but be aware that your ammeter may tell you something, it may tell you nothing, but no matter what it does, it is not going to be remotely accurate. If the glass fogs over and the hand melts, that is an indication that something has gone wrong, and that's about it for gi...

Barry I'm not the guy with knowledge to answer your question, but only to ask: Does your magneto work? If it does, have you considered a Magneto-battery charger? I cannot imagine a situation where an early T truly needs an automotive high amperage alternator to simply keep up a battery. The main dra...

Personally, I think they look like a pretty old version of early Kevlar oily cotton will burn, while kevlar will smoke and curl...don't inhale the fumes! You could pull some fuzz free and see how it reacts. As to what you do next, I don't think would be prudent to speculate on such little info. Good...

Re: Snake Oil or Functional

Oil screw is exactly what it is quite old concept which I suspect was pretty lacking in performance when used with 600WT oil I wouldn't bother with it and simply invest the time and purchase of modern seals I seem to recall a time in the past that such devices were offered by some of the suppliers (?)

Re: Wanted - Original set of Scandinavia cotton linings for 26 Model T

Tom be aware that old cotton linings shrink, and you don't want to purchase one of those unless you're creative with a set of rolls to moosh them back out, and two, don't even consider purchasing a set from the SE or MidWest where there is high humidity. They'll look great but likely be rotten. Good...
