Re: Trying to get an idiot-proof free neutral for shipping my T
Couldn’t you post a note stating to move the brake lever the whole way forward and to then pull it back and watch the left peddle. When that peddle moves forward slightly, that’s neutral. Than pull the whole way back for the parking brake.

Craig, If you have a 1.500 diameter crank journal and wire is .100, you turn the shaft down to 1.400. When you wrap the journal you end up at 1.600 prior to turning. You’re adding material to both sides of the journal,

As far as turnaround it’s best to call. Work level changes. I believe it normally runs 6 to 8 weeks, not counting shipping.

Other than DICKDOCK throwing stones without any supporting substantiation this thread has turned into a glowing endorsement of the quality coming from Stutzman. Besides the quality and fair prices one also needs to consider the turnaround, with promises kept.

Re: LED lights to replace Gas lights
Thanks Jim, I visually checked the speed of the Pulsations. As best I could tell they did change with speed. My wiring runs thru the 1/4” ID gas hose to 1/4 OD by 3/16 ID brass tubing used by the acetylene system. Makes a clean and neat system, but one with limited room. Would the brass tubing magni...

LED lights to replace Gas lights
I recently changed my acetylene head lights, in my 11 T, to LED lights based on an article in the Jan/Feb Horseless Carriage GAZETTE. Using the 3500K 6 watt COB bulbs I was very happy with the results. The light color is comparable to the gas lights. I didn't notice it at the time, but with the ligh...

I’ve been a newby in the past. Newby’s don’t have the connections to make the great buys. They don’t have friends to help them purchase a good deal. We should celebrate someone coming into the hobby rather than trashing them for paying more than we would. Just my thoughts.

Horrible Freight sells red airline hose. 5' for $5.69. It's their item # 98944. 1/4 inch ID. and 1/2" OD. You can remove the ink lettering with acetone. The package is called Swivel Whip Hose. Used it on my Torpedo and it looks great.

Yes Terry, That is my question. Is the plug with the ceramic.285 thousands down inside the base with more electrode exposed a different heat range than the one that the ceramic is only .105 thousands down and less electrode exposed?

I have two different styles of Champion X spark plugs. The style that appears to be of older vintage has the ceramic .285 below the face. The other is only .105. Would these be two different heat ranges?

Am considering doing this. Anyone having done this that would share your knowledge. Seems to be a lot of info on doing this with the later electric headlights but I can’t find anything on the forum for gas headlights.
