Re: Removing Posts

Hal i agree with you entirely.some time back there was a post about efforts to move away from gasoline powered cars (which seems like an unreal nutso idea to me) and there were some really shocking facts about things actually seeming to be gaining support in Califunny (surprise) and other areas.i ma...

Re: 6 volt battery dilemma

Mark,a battery can pick up a mild sulphating just sitting on a store shelf for a week or 10 days.if left in that state the battery will never reach full (100%) charge for ever and ever after.a battery at 96 or 98 % capacity is ok but a quick kick with the desulpfater will restore the battery to full...

6 volt battery dilemma

Seeking recommendations on a GOOD 6 volt Model T battery...I'm kinda a battery freak, and my luck for getting good batteries for our more modern (12 volt) batteries lately has been poor.Granted, I'm not the typical battery purchaser, but I never install a new battery in anything in our herd without fi...

when I don't have enough time to fiddle with/repair/drive and just stand back and admire the wonders of my wife's 1927 touring (named DAISY) and do all the gottado's and should do's and better do's,I just let everything but DAISYtime take a back seat to what is important...DAISY.that's just me.

I have 2 questions : 1...why would anyone want to live in California? 2...what will happen the first time some tree-hugging dummy freezes to death when he/she/it runs the battery flat in their all-electric vehicle when they skid off the beaten path in a roadside mishap in a snowstorm or some similar...

gasoline fumes are NOTHING TO TAKE LIGHTLY...as a long time sailboater I can tell lots of tales that will curl your hair.true gasoline vapors are heavier than air,and will tend, just like propane,to be at heavier concentrations down low,but the fact that the odor is detectable at nose-level proves th...

LOVE the story by Matt in califunny about shocking his bro with a T coil on the doorknob...in the early 1950s when i was in high school here in Tucson,i wired a T coil to the frame of my car and installed a switch to apply power to it so at the drive-in (or wherever the opportunity presented itself)...
