Re: Tudor rear window keeps dropping

As you’ve found out, the repair kit can be disappointing. If you had to file your gear and the spring isn’t doing its job, then it isn’t worth the low price. I’ve installed several of these from Snyders and they are excellent quality. Replace your window glass with safety glass at the same time if y...

Sold: Pair of nice older Ford Script aluminum step plates

SOLD

$65 for the pair includes shipping inside the 48 states. They are both identical in size and shape. The angle of the photo seems to make one look slightly smaller. First email in my inbox gets them. I do not receive PM’s. Thank you.

Sold pending payment: Pair of Wire wheel front hubs with extra holes. $75 shipped.

$75 for the pair includes shipping in the lower 48. They have extra holes in them that appear to be in a larger circle. Not sure what someone was thinking when they did this. These are not being sold for use on a car that gets driven, but they could be ideal for temporary use to roll a project aroun...

Re: KRW gap gauge

I’m guessing I’ve set the magnet heights on around 100 flywheels, and for most all of those I’ve used the KRW tool. It generally takes 2-4 tries to get well within spec. There probably wasn’t one time that I was happy with the clearance on the very first try. The KRW tool is essential because it all...

The larger radius allows it to gently bend & flex so vibration and engine to frame flex are less likely to break it.

BTW, your transmission cover is upside down. V goes down to drip on the band centers.
N/A if you have a screen.

…And that’s probably why it doesn’t seal good. It doesn’t seat properly against the hogshead.

Call the vendor you purchased them from and explain the problem. If those fit well, then send yours back for an exchange and tell them you w...

Warford salesman's presentation book for sale (In person at Hershey only)

I have a Warford company salesman's book that came from an estate sale in Syracuse, NY. This is the book that a Warford Company salesman would use in his “in person” sales presentations. It is an album type binder with many documents, photos, and advertisements for their transmissions and products a...

A warning if you are using an overdrive transmission and a full length TT driveshaft. The TT driveshafts are notoriously out of balance and some will make a terrible vibration in overdrive because they are turning at an increased speed.
