There is a seal behind the speedo gear and the front bearing, does anyone have any ideas on how to remove it without taking off the toque tube?

what other car has one door, no oil, water, or fuel pumps? Two ignition systems, and make running 40 mph on wooden wheels seem like 90mph.

How about splitting a 3/8 vacuum hose to slip over the edge. It may need some trim adhesive to keep it in place.

I have a 21 roadster with the stock 9 gal tank, everything is stock the way it left the factory. We live in upstate ny so most seasonal roads have hills, and of coarse they are dirt. As we climbed this good size hill with a "S" curve half way up, ol lizzy coughed and died. I tried the starter... not...

My 21 roadster has had a skip off and on since I've had it. Yesterday I turned on the ign and hand turned it to each firing point. The garage was dark and I saw a spark in the wrong place, The copper spark plug wire had come loose from the brass end that connects it to the coil. They are soldered or...

Re: old photo
One thing I liked about this photo was the model t was more likely to have survived, being the one that was tucked away in some old barn, while the new terraplane was pulling everyday chores, well past WW2. I don't know what year the T is, but looks in good shape for it's age.

While sorting old family photos, my wife found this one from 1935. I believe the new car is a 1934 Hudson Terraplane. What a difference twenty years makes!

Re: back yard brake up grade
There are two conditions where good brakes are needed. One is going downhill. We have hills so steep that even in low gear you need some brakes to keep the speed down. In flat open country, it might not be needed. Usually when on a road trip the T is so much slower than the modern cars that there i...
