Re: Oil seals for ball bearing rear axle
Allen, or anyone else. Would it be ok to use a little heat on the back side of the gear after it's set up in the press and ready to push?

I estimate that the scrappers bought at least 80 % of the T stuff on Tuesday.
I hope I am wrong and some of the buyers were volumn T buyers.

Re: Looking for a MATE!
You can purple the glass yourself with a special light bulb in a few days instead of years, if it has manganese in it. Use a germacidal bulb and fixture, mount it in wooden box with a lid, plug it in and open it in a couple of weeks and see if anything happened. Use all the precautions you can think...

Re: Driving back roads in southern Utah
I can't imagine doing the Elephant Hill area in a Model T. A friend and I did it a few years ago on off road bikes [motorcycles] . When your on top of the boulders, the way off is kind of hard to see except for the tire marks. More than a couple of time we would free fall a few feet getting off the ...

Re: U & J carburetor and manifold
Last night I was looking at a U+J with manifold I've for a long time.
I thought I should do some research and find out if their anything special.
I guess I'll start here.
Is a E+J any better than a stock T carburetor ?
