Clyde Coil Tester
A Local Church has received a donation of a vintage Clyde Mag Re-Charger and Tester, they are wishing to learn what the value might be if they sell it. They are very much considering gifting it to a local non profit old car museum but they would like some opinions on the approximate value. Your comm...

Kerosene Lamp Hardware
Gents, I have a '14 with front facing Kerosene lamps. As shown in the attached pictures there is a bracket inside that Locks the tank into place. One of mine is missing. Here are some things I am trying to learn. 1 Where might I find one, preferably with the bolt and nut? 2 Should it have a washer i...

Slightly Loose Felloe
Gents, I have a non demountable ('14 front) with a slightly loose Felloe. Thinking of drilling the rim 24 times and placing screws through and into the Felloe. Was thinking that if there was some kind of 2 part epoxy that was runny enough to squirt into the holes (with a syringe) it would improve th...

Clean brake shoe/Lining
Is there any way to reasonably clean the break shoe and lining?
What would you use to clean the inside of the drum?
Thanks

Re: Starter Switch Location
Thanks for the comments, I was starting with the assumption that the location of the seat relative to the frame might be different for some years and body styles so a measurement from the heel board to the switch might give me Henry's opinion on where the switch is best functional and not in the way...

Starter Switch Location
Gents,
I have put a starter in a '14 and am trying to decide where to put the foot switch. I'd like to know, where was it in a '19? Maybe X inches between the switch and wall under the seat. anybody able to make a measurement?
Thanks

My first impression was it’s too long for a car. Any opinions on that?

Re: 14 Help Please, Radiator/Fenders don't align
Well folks, here is the story. After much study it seems certain that the car wasn't right when I pulled the engine . When I got the car home (newly purchased) I changed the oil, drove around the block 1 time and then dumped the catch pan into a jug for disposal. Something went plop so I got out a s...

Corey,
That helps, my frame holes match your measurement. Note My hood shelf is 3/4" behind the radiator, that must be a clue.

Re: 14 Help Please, Radiator/Fenders don't align
Gents, The radiator will clear the sides of the frame, its just that it is sitting on the front most part of the fender (where it rests on the frame). I marked on the frame where the front most part of the fender was then removed the radiator and hood shelves. The fender would push back adequately b...

14 Help Please, Radiator/Fenders don't align
Gents I need some input please. I have a 14, the engine was pulled and now I'm putting things back together. I can't get the radiator to set down on the frame it sits on the fender by about 3/16 of an inch. It seems that the fender is just further forward than before but I'm puzzled why and don't kn...

'14 Touring, Brass Screw Questions
Gents, I know I should have taken detailed pictures, I should have bagged and meticulously labeled the parts. Don't beat me up too bad please. I have a 14 Touring and am not sure some of the parts go. Hopefully someone can help. The arm rests are held on with Brass screws with a cup shaped washer Qu...
