Mike, thank you for the reference discussion clarification. I have seen and sat in Bryan’s 10 touring but never really looked close at the steering column. Installed a somewhat period correct model T generator on my 12. Made the bracket and a friend machined an extension to the armature so the fan belt will line up. First bracket I made was too high, thinking if I wanted to have a water pump but made the second one to place the generator lower next to ...

Steven, that is one extremely beautiful car. My 12 has a Ray Wells body but everything else is original, just like yours, but, it has a starter, Rocky Mountain brakes and a ruckstell axle so I can get up my 35 degree driveway since I live in the mountains. The aircraft EZ lube works great. Make sure the extra goop does not block the hole or you will be taking everything apart again. While apart, try to stretch the spring a bit, not much, to make up for the collapse that happens naturally over the years.

Why don’t you combine what Craig and Steve stated. Use the paper gasket with the high temperature RTV silicon.

Anthony, how about a real nice Ford, model T Towncar. If you already have all the rest of the models, how about a unique piece to add to your collection.
Call me if interested, we can discuss it.

This will be a wonderful tour for three weeks but there are too many hotel reservations to be made and usually they get filled up by the beginning of the year. We need commitments by latest of November first to guarantee a smooth event.

What year is your centerdoor and what years is your friends? If the car looks good and the splash aprons match your car, paint or patina, don’t worry about it. The whole idea of the hobby is to have fun and not spend sleepless nights trying to find problems. I had an 18 centerdoor that the aprons we...

Bruce, I like the pictures of the Joseph Galamb museum you posted. The tour has gone back to three weeks due to too many places we want to show you and two weeks was not enough time. Since you are already there, mind as well enjoy an additional week with minimal additional cost. Can call me anytime to clarify details of the tour.

I have a newly rebuilt motor with an aluminum timing gear and it is annoyingly noisy. The crazy part is it will make a lot of winding racket, then stop for a while and make close to the same later. I thought it was my transmission triple gears at first, newly rebuilt along with the motor, but after ...
