Bill no the baffles make them hard to clean. After the milk is tested and your told when to dump you drop the milk. After the tank is empty the reciveing crew will insert a automatic washer in the manhole on top and tanks are washed with steam and hot water. I hauled milk for a few months!! Bud.

Re: Oily Rusty Paste in Cooling System
Many years ago several talked of a flush using Calgon DISHWASHER POWDER. I did both the T and model A and while not perfect it did quite well. Use distilled water with antifreeze and drain and change once a year. Compared to everything it's cheap!! Bud.

Re: Milling Block Deck and Head
Less is better and also cheaper. The shape of combustion chamber is also very important. 50 years ago i used a Model B head and water pump on a Model A Doodle Bug and it made a difference in power! Bud.

Re: Shot peened crankshafts ?
Way back at the Chevy plant i started many raw castings were shot blasted in machined named WHEELABRATOR. I think this was only done to remove scale and rust to give a clean casting to machine. The shot used [steel] is very small?? Bud.

I think the best Model T book of all time is Tin Lizzie by Stern. If you do not have the love for a model T it soon will not be worth the trouble! Bud.

I think most people could easily tell your status in life by what you drove. Once the model T New Fangled and high dollar but in later years not so much. The later T's were working peoples cars and while people of the time dressed in their best for pictures i think not everyday? Bud.

My question is why?? Far from a expert but i think there are several profiles of Model T cams so would it be worth the effort to use a Model A cam?? Bud.
