This is the timer for my model F. Would this have a brush or roller? Does anyone know how this hooks up to the shaft? Also what material would I use to reproduce the insulation ring?

I checked the timing by the piston travel method as described in my the model T engine book. I have also tried both carbs. It does seem to me like it does not get enough gas into the jugs. I have inspected the intake manifold for blockage and have installed new gaskets.

If it is like the others I have seen, it is a giant postcard. I think if you look in the middle you will see a fold line where you are suppose to fold it double to mail it. Fascinating, the last photo is a early 15-16 Centerdoor sedan that has been modified with a later radiator. Notice the unique 3 piece windshield and forked electric headlights. The fenders are later as well Perhaps Canadian?

I am currently going through my Ford model R transmission and I need to replace all of the fiber discs. Does anyone know where I can buy the proper fiber for this project? I have the old ones for patterns. I am a member of the Early Ford Registry but have lost my password to post there.

Daniel, the 1915 Centerdoor sedan headlamps did not use the forks, but it is possible that the Canada sedans used them. The first prototype sedan did have the gas headlamps.

I collect Edison Kinetoscopes and films. The size reminds me of the home Kinetoscope film which is 22mm but with three separate images about 6mm each.
