Re: 1917 Serial Numbers Daily List
James,
Thanks for the reply, but I was trying to find the exact day that my serial number was stamped. The block casting date says 9/22/17. I always thought that there normally is a couple weeks or a month between the serial number and the casting date. Mine appears to be a couple days possibly.

Thank you
Thank you

Re: 1923 Touring
Hi George,
Wasn't 1923 a transition year for style? Is this car considered a '23 or a '24? Can the engine number tell what year model this car is?

Re: Pictures of the 1916 Touring
I think that the young man TWrenn was referring to was me. I was very interested in this T. I found out though that the ID number on the title was based upon something else besides the VIN # on the engine. My local NYS DMV requires a pencil trace of the VIN# to register the car. Since the owner didn...

Beautiful car. No mention of engine work. Why no spark plug wires? What is the engine number?

Re: FS 1916 Model T Touring
I am no expert on Model T's but am trying to learn as much as I can before I purchase one. My question is - if the Mag works great, why would the current owner rig up a generator. Shouldn't the mag generate enough juice to power the lights and spark plugs?

Re: Very nice 1926 Coupe
Jim,
What would it cost to ship this car to Fishkill, NY? I am curious as to the added cost because all the nicest T's seems to be on the west coast.

What is the date on the block? Is it 7/3/14 or 7/31/14? I can't tell from the pic. How many cars did Ford produce on a daily basis?

Isn't this car a late 1914 model? Could that explain the 1915 style firewall? Looks like a nice car.

Isn't this considered a 1914 because of the serial number and the fiscal year starting in September?

Beautiful T. I am curious about the radiator. I thought that all closed 27 T's had nickel plated radiators and the open T's had black radiators. Why does yours have a black radiator? I am not a T expert by any means - just trying to understand.
