Not Firestone. Firestone aftermarket 5 lug wheels had heavy square wood fellows. These are metal fellows like the factory wheels used by ford.

1923-24 Coupe Body
This is a 1923 or 1924 coupe body that I am posting for a friend. Its in decent condition and is very complete. This is the type that has the rear quarter windows that go up and down which I believe was a feature of the 1923-24 cars. The dash is even complete with the original Stewart speedometer. T...

1909-10 sidelight brackets
I am having a discussion with a friend and we would like to know if the 1909-10 brackets were originally made out of cast brass or pressed steel and brass plated. I have seen them both ways. It seems to me that originally they were brass plated steel. Can anyone shed light on this?

Re: Difference between Atwood Castle 120 and 120A taillight?
Scott, thanks so much for the explanation. I have an 09 with a #120A taillight with the handle on the back. Is it possible it could be original to the car?

Difference between Atwood Castle 120 and 120A taillight?
Does anyone know what the difference is between an Atwood castle 120 and 120A taillights are? Are the both correct for an 09 Ford? Or is one larger than another? Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

1909 Roadster questions
Here are a couple of questions pertaining to 1909-10 runabouts: #1: Did all roadsters come with a mother-in-law seat on the rear toolbox? If not, than does anyone have any period photos of one without the seat? #2: Does anyone know what was used as a latch for the rear toolbox (under the mother-in-l...

Re: Firestone 5 lug demountable wheels info and photos
Interesting that there are so many different manufacturers of this type of wheel. It’s also interesting that some have way thicker felloes than others. I’ve also seen the type with the steel ring on the outside. The Stanweld Type seems to have the thickest felloe. I also have a pair of NOS wheels ma...

Re: Firestone 5 lug demountable wheels info and photos
Also I think they really serve their purpose. Meaning if you want to go really fast with your early T say with OHVs etc..I think they are much safer and just seem like they would be a period accessory for that purpose. Here’s a photo of Ed Archer with his yellow speedster that has a set of these 5 l...

Re: Firestone 5 lug demountable wheels info and photos
Thanks for the photos and info so far. So I have a set that are Stanweld. Same very heavy felloes. I have seen very few photos of Model Ts with them, especially period photos. I really like the way they look, very stout like wheels on a larger car. Let’s see some more photos! Someone has to have some!

Early 2 piece driveshaft difference
I am rebuilding the rear for my 1909 Roadster and I noticed that the tube of the two piece driveshaft from this car is actually 1/4 inch smaller in diameter than the driveshaft from my 1915 which has the “one piece” closed spool driveshaft. The reason why I bring this up is because #1 it is visually...
