Looks like a Rootlieb kit to me. Speedsters are worth 7-12K for the most part. Use that as a start to determine value.

On this one, wheels add to value, as does the Ruckstel. Looks like a real nice paint job. Cannot see much else.

Just thought some of you would enjoy watching this.

Looks like it was built on a platform. All you have to do is move the trunk and the gas tank back and you will fit fine. Speedsters are always a lot more fun than a coupe or touring.

Go to www.texastparts.com for wiring diagrams. They do not go as far back as a 1916, but you can look at the 1919-25 and see where most of your wires will be placed. I highly recommend a fuse and the diagram will show you where to place it.

I find it easier to get AAA. Then all my cars are covered. Even though my kids do not live with us, they are still covered. Towing for up to 100 miles, and most tow drivers will ask you how to tie the car down and how slow would you like me to go. Worth the cost.

I always get drips under the differential and below the king pins on the front axle. Maybe a couple pieces of cardboard on the innerside of the front wheels would cover those.

I have what I think is a flattened out mixed fruit can.

I would suggest you mail 2 of your spokes to Noah or whomever you would like to make spokes for you. That way they know the exact size. You only need 4 spokes, but I suggest you ask him to make 6 in case one does not fit well and so you have a couple extra.

Home Depot bucket with about 6 inches of kerosene. Put housing in bucket.
Attach a brush to a pole and pretend I am making butter in a butter churn.

Final rinse with some clean kerosene.

Flaps go on wooden wheels. Langs does not recommend them just to get another sale. They want you to enjoy your car and not deal with flats.

Black fenders always look good with any other color. Cream colored seats really do not go with many other colors. Stripes are always good lookin.

I would suggest a Tuba. At least everyone would hear it and be able to see your horn.

And if you have to room, store a couple quarts of oil somewhere in the car and an empty bottle that u can use to add water to the radiator, even if it is just an old coke bottle.

I would
1. Have someone check to make sure the head is flat
2. Plan on using a new copper head gasket
3. Buy new head bolts
4. Use the correct bolts on the water outlet (no need for nuts and washers)

The vast majority of us do not know the code for Pound or Euro, and it is not on our keyboard, so we just use lb or lbs and E. If we are discussing costs I would hope anyone would know they stand for money and not weight.

I had a muffler like that with those ends. It was starting to rust so I tossed it and
installed a Stanley tractor muffler. It works great. They used to be $20, but are now
