It is my under standing that US cars in 1912 the horn tube ran inside the car . my 12 being a Canadian car with a left front door that opens it has a clip , I have only seen this clip on Canadian built cars. I have a 1912 and I see everything that is not 12 such as no front doors high top when folded 09-10 head lamps. 11and 12 then the top is down is much flatter. Pictured is an early 12

What ever color I paint, my paint guy tints the primer So yellow paint = yellow tint primer also on Lighter colors the color or the primer will slightly charge the color of the top coat. Such as a yellow with black verses grey, grey primer will give you a shade lighter yellow

Hello John to the top of the rear bow on my Canadian 12 Touring is 6 foot 10 inches and the centre bowes are a little taller so I would say you need 6 feet 11 inches clear .

The correct spelling is Lampblack one word it is what they used back in the day ,it is made from soot . I don't know if you can still buy it Dad had a bag of it . First used in 1960 it will out last me as a 1/4 tea spoon will do a rad with left overs.

we have always used a black powder mixed with water and then sprayed on with a regular spray bottle . The water dries up and you are left with a flat black finish. We redo it every 10 years. I remember now it is called lamp black.

My 1912 Had one on since 1960 In 2013 when I broke the crank we tried it with out ,the engine temp went down and does not boil anymore . My rad is the original round tube and has one tube blocked off. The water pump is now a wall hanger.

Be careful there is a letter from early 1913 which indicates only a clock, robe rail and running board tool box may be added any other added accessories will void your warranty. LOL

well it looks like I have some spring work to do before I take the T for a drive, Check the fan blades for cracks and check the fan bolt as all it gets is grease two times a season. I did find 5 complete fan assemblies as spares so I'm good for parts. Cheers Colin

My 1912 is stock I doubled the wish bone but from 1960 to 2013 it had the stock wish bone, it had mag lights installed in 1915 turn signals and a brake light and 4 way flashers the rest is stock . Are you running a water pump , I removed mine and the temps dropped 20 degree's I am still using the original 109 year old rad and work just fine . My rad was rodded out about 1968 by a shop that knew old rads one tube is blocked.

Chris I have the jack that runs between the rails I can lift one side or the axle . I had to load a none running car into a 5 ton truck so I rolled the hoist into the back lane ,put the car on it worked like a dream.

They should come with drip trays both of mine did, just make sure the one you buy is certified some of the china lifts are not . Both of mine came from Benco Equipment in Fargo ND, the lift is a Pro park they are certified. Both are 4 post lifts.

My 1912 has had Mag lights since 1915 installed by Dr Bond at a cost of $3.25 . The reflector clips into the original lamp rim,the burner is removed to allow clearance.
