1926 TT coil location
My TT is titled 1926 and supposedly the original engine. It came to me with an engine mounted coil box but has an early firewall as seen. Was there a transition period where this could have been correct. If not should I use a firewall mounted coil box. What say the experts?

Rim lock help
Is this rim lock supposed to be attached permanently to the rim. Ive spent 3 days trying to get the tire mounted and no success. I am using a spreader as pictured but the rim wants to twist and will not align as it should. Words of wisdom welcomed.

Spent a day with the paint gun this week. Got the springs assembled and attached the rebuilt and assembled front end and radius rods on the TT chassis. Hurrican Dorian put me a week behind, but that's where the advantage of retirement comes handy. God bless those effected by that storm.

Spindle differences
Need to replace both spindles on the front of my 26 TT. Project. There are several choices of individual spindles and a couple of pairs on ebay, all 1920 and later. Will these work to replace mine? I am assuming the TT front end is the same as the car.

When you tighten the cylinder up with a piston/ring replacement you will increase compression, (providing the cylinder is round) and put more strain on the lower end (rod journals). If the the rod or main bearings are marginal the increased compression will cause any bottom end wear to be amplified ...

Regulator arrived Sat afternoon. Got Peaches out and installed as instructed. Have max amp setting about 10 amps but she settles right down to around 4-5 amps at cruising speed. Pretty good day today. Got the gen. back together, set the brush plate to null position with the gen. motoring. Installed and fired the engine. 3rd brush set full clockwise (from front) it will kick out 20 amps but set it down to about 6 at cruising speed. However at this setting Im getting about 8 ...

Ford timer roller question
Pulled the timer (stock Ford) off the '23 today after it started dropping a cylinder or 2 at full retard. After removing the nut roller retaining nut I discovered the pin was not in place. However upon further investigation I found the 2 pictured items stuck in grease in the timer cover. My question...
