Re: What have you done with your T Model in April ?g Wrecker

It's tag has it listed as a 490 D. From what I could find, the model is 490 and the D indicated that it came with a higher number of accessories 490 A. Just the wrecker B. PTO drive C. Bed sides and PTO D. Land anchors and steering clamp, bed sides, and PTO. (I have all of those pieces still) An art...

May be considered too new for this group, but I would like to get my hands on a gen 3 galaxie 500 some day. I love the look of the stacked headlights, and it would be nice to have a classic car that keeps pace with traffic. It would be cool to find one built as the police interceptor, but I don't ha...

We built our TT because you rarely see them at shows in Oregon. We went a different route than most in building a tow truck. The height issue is real. My TT needs 8'6" of clearance. The cab itself is about 7'10". I'm running 700 tires on the rear so that adds a little bit of height. If you plan on t...

I think the pieces missing are the locking pieces that go where the holes are in the rim. You should also have the retention ring. I've attached a photo of our rebuilt wheels. The outer ring and lock ring are both in silver but you can see the split.

Have a set of Rocky mountain brakes for a TT, but no rods. We can build rods, but we are playing with the idea of using cable instead. Not sure if anyone has given this a shot before and if they ran into any issues.

The tow truck is coming together. After some body work on the fenders it should be hitting the road. It's been 5 years in the making.
