We went on the tour once. A very good mix of some really nice early cars. Nice roads and good lunches. The only complaint we have is that the tour is done parade style with the slowest car leading the pack.

I have used the PVC material in several applications for nailing strips. In my opinion it holds staples very well, but is not good at holding nails or screws. You might try your nails in some PVC before using it on the corners, since the bow pads need to be nailed to them.

Nevy Clark RIP
Nevy was a participant on several Winter tours, and is well known in the antique car community in the South. Another loss to the antique car world.

In addition, if you sold the item on EBAY or send it through PayPal, there are special corporate discounts. As an example, I sent a set of triple gears from Illinois to California a ...

Re: Glass Thickness
Why would you use tempered glass in a windshield? That should be laminated safety glass.

Upcoming Central Illinois Auction
My wife ran across this in a local shopper newspaper
https://www.auctionzip.com/Listings/3207083.html
This appears to be in an auctioneers barn near Arcola, Il, south of Champaign. I have no connection to this auction.

I used that link, but it was good only for a few hours. Now it seems that even though I didn't change anything, I was able to log in from the main index page and I am staying logged in. Strange things happen....

Re: Mysterious Size of Woodruff Key for Steering Gear Ball Arm Part#3548 Question?
The problem is that Ford used a big key in a small diameter shaft. If you try to use a standard woodruff key, it sticks up too high and you cannot tighten the pitman arm on the steering shaft. The 'special' Ford woodruff key has been ground to reduce its height by flattening the rounded side. This a...

Re: 1926/27 Front Spring Dimensions
I cannot tell from your pictures, but an easy way to see that a spring is for a Model T is to look for the oil hole at the spring eye. Model A's, for example, have the oiler built into the shackle so they did not have to have the spring eye drilled for the oiler.

Tony's login worked. I was not trying to use the 2018 login, but I went to the 2018 forum. Then selected the 2019 forum, that took me to a page with this on it- This link will take you to new forum software. YOU WILL NEED TO RE-REGISTER ON THE NEW SITE. Wierd login problems - Firefox?
I tried to respond to a topic. Got the login page. Tried to log in. No luck. Tried logging in using the 'login' at the upper right corner and it sent me to the 2019 formum home page but I am still not logged in. Went to the 2018 forum, then from there logged into the 2019 forum and I am able to post...

Vic Tankersley
I just saw in the Tennessee T's newsletter that Vic passed away last November. We really enjoyed touring with Vic and Lori. Anybody have any more details or link to his obituary? I couldn't find anything.

Pfishing EMAIL
I just got a very official looking email from "Amazon.com" confirming a purchase. The return address looked legitimate. The only giveaway was that it was addressed to "MTFC" then my name. Luckily my virus program caught it when I opened the invoice to see what my wife might have bought. Not sure if ...
