That was a screwy video . I received a set of screw drivers from relatives in Canada, that sure explains all the square drive screwdrivers in the set.
I kinda like those Robertson square drives, they do work nice.

What kills me is if you do what the MTFCA axle manual tell you to do to remove the bushing you shear off the rivet heads, ridiculous! I think those rivets are expanded it there so tight that it wont matter if the ends of them are sheared off. Look how difficult it is to remove the pedal shaft rivets...

The foam strip across the top edge of the spring helped form the nice round crown. The pleats create themselves as you pull the upholstery up around the top from the center to the outsides

Excellent Scott, I commend you for taking on the sheet metal work yourself. Everyone should....if you dont try it you will never know if you can pull it off. Alot of the work you did on the bottom of your car looks exactly like what I had to do on my car and the same way I did it. And didnt it feel ...

Amen Brent. The woman in the rocking chair looks like she is on her cell phone. We see the same thing with these phones day in and day out that the first thing we think of when we see a woman with her hand near her head or just holding something we think its a cell phone

Re: Shop tip
When looking for a short in your car, disconnect the ground cable from the battery and hook up a test light from the cable end to the ground terminal of the battery then pull fuses from the fuse box one at a time till the test light goes out. You will now know what circuit the short is on.

OK since everyone is chiming in, here is my input, I am not a fan of draining carburators for the fact that if it sits for long periods of time the seals dry out and you are in the same boat of removing it and rebuilding it, I have seen it first hand.
