Josh, There is a "sleeve" of sheet metal that fits over your exhaust manifold. The "sleeve" has a tube that connects the rear of the sleeve to the floor vent. Pat, Living in Texas, you might know. I understand Oklahoma vehicle dealers GIVE the MCO to the BUYER when a vehicle is sold. Why would they do that if the MCO was NOT the superior title, meaning, the person holding the MCO OWNS the vehicle? I understand the MCO goes to the entity with rightful owne...

Mike,

Living on the Western Slope, I hope you have better luck with the VIN inspection. My VIN inspection turned out to be a Safety inspection. Once you get the VIN, I think you will be OK. I haven't had any trouble at all with the paperwork. Maybe it's just the office we use.

Good Luck,

The correct term is: "Two Blocked". In the old days, hoisting cranes had two sheave blocks for hoisting. One had a hook or ring on the bottom. I would NOT recommend Helicoil inserts on an aluminum hogs head. The reason: When the Helicoil is inserted, the last step is to break off the tang on the bottom of the Helicoil. Being as the Helicoil is steel, there is a huge chance of dropping that tang into the engine/transmission. A much better o...

If you are unable to salvage the threads, I suggest using a Time-sert or Key-lock insert instead of a helicoil. While helicoils are good for use in steel or iron, they may not be the best in aluminum. Time-serts are a fully threaded "bushing" type of insert and will provide a better thread engagemen...

I suggest visiting a sporting store or gun shop. Ask for the bore cleaning brushes, specifically 17 size or 0.172. Since the size of the pins in a 4 connector plug are 0.176 the small wire brush will work fine. If you are using a standard 7 pin connector, you can purchase a cleaning brush on line or...
