it was restored in decator ill, and sold to a gent in florida from whom i obtained it. whom the restorer got it from, i do not know.

thanks for the comments...............i do not know the year of the ring gear flywheel as it was on the car when i bought it.
originally, of course, it did not have a ring gear.

depends on the width of hogshead. 9-10 were one inch narrower than the last 10-early 11. the narrow ones seem to be more plentiful
than the wide ones, although still quite scarce.

the reason i asked about lewis and spangler is that their names appear on the
build sheet for my feb 1911 touring.
