3 Port Olds adapter plates
I have a choice of a 3 port Olds head and a '28 Chevy OHV head to use on a spare motor that I want to convert to OHV. Is there anyone producing the adapter plates on here or anyone that might have one for sale? It would need to be shipped to Scotland (at my cost obviously)

Re: Is anyone running Olds 3 port OHV head on their T
Did this a while back on a speedster. I found a 4 cylinder 1928 Chevrolet cam will give more lift that a stipe cam at little or no cost. You take the model t cam bearings out at turn the Chev cam bearing surfaces down to run the cam on the Ford cam bores. If memory serves I think you get a 180 lift...

Now Shut up and HANG ON! Hope this Helps, Hank Thats a great help. To summarise, - you milled the rocker stand shafts off to fit the new higher ratio rocker assembly _ what was that off? - used the start cutter tool to take down the valve guide and fitted SBC valves? and springs? - fabbed and fitte...

Is anyone running Olds 3 port OHV head on their T
Looking for info on Olds 3port head conversions on a T block. What cam works? and what rocker ratio? Apart from the obvious adapter plate and hardware what else did you have to do to make it work? And performance wise what were the gains?

New/old boots for the Gin Runner
i went shopping on ebay last week and scored a set of 3 very lightly used 6.00x18 Lucas crossplys that are on the the list of suitable tyres for vintage sportscar trials so should be fine. They were on a Wolesley Hornet Special for two trials then retired so loads of life in them. £125 for the 3 inc...

Stock, with generator coils and starter. Would also be handy to know the weight of a rolling chassis without bodywork. trying to assess the weight of a minimally bodied speedster compared to a stock roadsterSteve Jelf wrote: ↑Tue Nov 19, 2019 12:26 pmWith or without coils, generator, and starter would make a difference.

Re: The start of my TwinT project
Yesterday i did the first rough cuts on the two scrappy oil pans that i have set aside for the project. The front one is a 26/27 four dip that had a rotten bondo patched flywheel housing so i felt no guilt in taking the grinder to it. The rear is an earlier 3 dip but the nose was a bit rusted so it ...

I'll lip off and say it's a good thing you don't have a stock exhaust in your stash. The late Felix Graves in Broken Arrow, OK, had a T speedster that the engine ran backwards. I am pretty sure it was just a flathead engine but he won the Tulsa Hill Climb with it...beating out some overhead setups. Maybe back in the 1970s. Don't know what happened to the car. https://www.nwvs.org/T...
