Re: Driving question
Don't worry about high gear until you master starting and stopping in an open space. As others have mentioned, drive the car like you have no brakes, because compared to your modern ride, you almost don't. During my very first attempt at driving the emergency brake moved from the vertical position t...

Re: Wishing You a Merry Christmas
This year is much less about bright lights and much less about fancy presents. It's about how much we miss, love, and need one another. May the stillness of the day give each of us time to reflect on even the smallest of blessings in our lives and may 2021 be a year when we can once again share a la...

I was given this light by a friend who thought it might be auto related. There is no makers mark on the lamp.

Your question will spur a tsunami of debate!
Google search, “MTFCA oil”.
Many will say that any modern oil is better than what was used when your T was new

My friend Doug and I, unpinned the U-joint, drove out the old driveshaft bushing on my ‘24 Touring, and replaced it with a new brass one. Luckily no reaming needed, but did need a little facing. After reinstalling the U-joint, everything looks great as far as clearances and backlash. Now ready for f...

Universal T Drivers for me too!
Went on easily with tubes and flaps.
Much easier to put on than the 1960's Lincoln Highway Tires that I had to take off.
They were like four rocks!

Removed the inspection cover from the hogshead to tighten the brake band.
Reinstalled finger tight when the misses called me for dinner.
Took the car out for a half-mile test run the next morning.
Washed my driveway and entire neighborhood with oil.
