Were you able to work a deal?colonelpowers wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 10:42 pmI am going to try to make a deal on the 23 Dodge, I think. Is there anything that I should be sure to look for or look out for? Any red flags that I should be aware of?
Thanks
I think the question is about more than strictly the hole. I think the OP is wondering also about the formed area around the hole. Other than that, this appears to be a stock cowl.Norman Kling wrote: ↑Thu Mar 28, 2024 11:22 amThat whole cowl is not original. It should be flat from the hood to the door.

As Peter says, do not remove the bolt... remove the nut, then unscrew the bolt.Peter Martin wrote: ↑Mon Mar 18, 2024 11:44 pmThe tie rod bolt screws into the yolk, the nut is a lock nut. Remove the nut first then unscrew the bolt.

Right! Neither of them appear to have the sense of humor necessary for the use of that hood ornament. I see now that the oil petcocks are showing. If the negatives were reversed, they would not appear in their "normal" location. RHD they are!Jerry VanOoteghem wrote: ↑Tue Feb 27, 2024 11:03 amThe Mother-In-Law Runabout and '09 Touring both appear to be right-hand drive. A reversed negative maybe?
