Re: Front end wobble at low speed

I have a low mileage '22 chassis that ran fine on gravel but when I hit the tar it wobbled greatly. Turns out the right king forging was bent back a few degrees. After bending it back to match the left side it ran nicely down the blacktop! Ray

Someone once said that was one reason people would paint the wheels on their Model T a color other than black so they could find it easier in a sea of T's

Re: help regan spoke press

I've had good luck with a pusher plate about 8" in diameter in a hydraulic press. The plate with a hub bored out to fasten to the stub underneath the hydraulic cylinder keeps everything flat. I know not everyone has a press, but maybe your buddy does!

Re: 25 Pickup Box Battery Access Door Question

I have a '25 pickup box with factory bed strips and mine have a slight crown to them. I couldn't tell by the photos if yours are flat or have a crown. Ray

It looks like the wheel fellows are of the rounded edge type, and with the oval top bows would put it at 1917. Ray

The fire engine looks a little like a '32 - '33 Chevrolet emblem on the radiator. My guess - anyone else?
