Re: Hershey - Who's going and who's bringing Lizzie? And what was it like to bring a car?

Speedster Jeff: You should look into going to Luray Pre War Swap meet. Closer than Hershey and geared toward your stuff. You don’t have to be a member to any special club, although it helps. And you don’t have to have a PA sales tax number. I sell at Hershey but have missed last few years and like ...

Re: Hershey - Who's going and who's bringing Lizzie? And what was it like to bring a car?

This is a huge show, no need to pre-screen your parts BUT you DO need to be an AACA member and you DO need to pre-purchase swap meet spaces. Here's the official site. https://hershey.aaca.com/eastern-division-fall-meet/vendors/flea-market/ . You might be past the due date for swap meet spaces.. the...

Re: Hershey - Who's going and who's bringing Lizzie? And what was it like to bring a car?

I have never been to Hershey, and I am debating taking a 24' box trailer and truck bed full of parts from the 1940's back to early teens from all different brands and a bunch of literature from that same era. Since it is now more "modern stuff", am I wasting my time driving 2,400 miles? I called the...

I met another person in Jensen Beach, across the river, that has a T and a few other cars. We will be going to visit his collection when it gets out of the 90's. I'm really surprised that there aren't that many model T's in this area.

Wanted: 1926/1927 Wire Wheel Front Hub

Hello, I am in need of one (1) good front wire wheel hub for a 1926/1927 style wire wheel. One of the hubs I was rebuilding has a spun outer bearing and I would like to purchase a good used one that doesn't have this problem. After speaking with a few T folks, this seems to have been a problem. Than...

Re: Model T front hubs with 21" Model A Wheels

After extensive research, I am drawing up another hub that will support the model A wheel at both places and I will just machine two new ones out of steel that use T bearings. It will basically be a T hub with an A bolt pattern with no adapter plates. Thank you for all of the responses.

So I have scoured the net looking for hub drawings and am surprised that there isn't any drawings out there. I have the 26/27 hubs that a friend gave me and I need to look them over, but I am really leaning towards just machining new steel hubs since we have the facilities to do so. I just don't lik...

Model T front hubs with 21" Model A Wheels

Our model T speedster was restored in 1970 by my neighbor and I would ride in it anytime he asked me for a ride as a child (or adult). I bought it from him a few years ago and my family and I have had a lot of fun with it since purchasing. The other day the front wheel bearing went out and cracked t...
