Hi Rudy and Michael. I've attached 2 photos of the optional "land wheel drive" on the Big Bull. In early 2019, Aumann Auctions sold a Big Bull from the late Alan Schurman auction in Woodland, Washington. It also had the land wheel drive on it. At the time, they noted they had not seen a Bull with th...

One more shot of the Big Bull's 2 cylinder engine. It's currently stuck, but all complete. To start it, you stick the hand crank through the spokes of the left/rear land wheel. I have no idea what you do if you happen to shut it down and the wheel spoke blocks the shaft where the hand crank slips in...

Thought I would share my latest old tractor find. This was just a couple months ago, during our heat wave out in the PNW. Sounds like a stuck valve. Those flathead sixes are notorious for having a valve stick after sitting all winter. Start with compression check. Might consider a running compression check to see if a valve spring broke.

On some antique tractor cast iron gasket surfaces for the radiator tanks, I've used "Lab-Metal", which is an aluminum paste. I'ts like JB weld, but comes in a can. If you just looked at the photos on the auction listing, you would not have known about the engine. I went to the open house and saw the car up close. I think someone got a good deal on the 1911 touring. The auction's description didn't do the car any justice and they only showed a photo of the left side of the engine. Had they shown the right side, bidders would have seen it was an open valve engine and a six rivet rearend. With exception of the ...
