This is my AutoKamp trailer. It was gifted to me by the daughter of the original purchaser.Along with it was a diary and photographs of several camping trips they made. I restored it using all original fasteners , wood and brackets. I made the tent myself using remnents of the original. Les

No top material was used. The top was made of a hard fiber board panel. The back window panel was installed with sealer under the top edge and screws held it in place. The screw heads were filled in with a hardening white putty. All was painted black. Les

This is what I do in regards to the 3/8 upholstery nails. I made a little resizing block and pound the oversize nails thru.An extra tap when the nail hits bottom flattens the head. Les

I disassembled my muffler. My pipe has the ring formed on the pipe at the front of the muffler. I cannot exactly verify the date of manufacture. Les

I have a 21 and 22 with wood firewalls. Both have the metal drip rail about 1/8 inch proud of the cowl plus the cowl lace. Also, the sides are about the same. The hoods fit very well front and back and do not rub the cowl paint. Les

A stronger battery should do it. A friend one time used a flashlight battery as a hotshot and it only worked a couple times.

Don, This is my 1920 sedan roof. I used Masonite to cover the bows. It took the compound curves nicely. It is sealed with West Systems epoxy and sanded ready for primer and gloss black paint. No padding or covering as original. Les

The windows look correct. My 21 has the same window treatment. The padding covers a steel framework that includes the attachment of the lifting strap.
