Your overhead is not a Rajo. I believe it is a two port 8 valve Roof head , but I don’t know what model name Roof used for it. First check and clean the battery to frame ground cable. If still no starter spin add a auxiliary ground cable from engine to frame. After that check the battery for an internal short or problem under load. You may need some new battery cables or a new battery.

Re: Does anyone know how to hook up a ‘Wonder Ignition Rectifier’?

I would guess that it works like the intensifier spark plugs sold back in the Model T era. The, “intensifying” , is just a small pre-gap of around 0.010 inch before the actual spark plug gap , which makes for a little stronger spark in the cylinder under compression. So inside of the small wood box ...

Re: Fan pulley oil. What the zerk? Ream? Felt?

That fan in your picture looks a lot like a fan that was on a 1954 flathead six Dodge pickup I once owned. If you plan to use it on your Model T, now would be the time to buy a modern fan pulley with the modern bearings, it will move your fan back some from your radiator, which I am sure you will ne...

You may be able to use safety hubs and Nash Metro hydraulic brakes. The Metro brake backing plate isn’t that thick and drums are small enough to clear your wire wheel spokes. A plus is if you wanted to go four wheel brakes the Metro brakes work well on the front of a T speedster.

As you change out each head bolt make sure that the new bolt isn’t longer than the old bolt. I am assuming that you checked the old bolts against bottoming in the block when you had the head off. Now that you are changing out those bolts one at a time, the new bolt if just a little longer could bott...

Re: Special factory oval fuel tank spacer brackets, circa 1920 images.

I assume that because the distance between the top of the car frame to the bottom of the fuel tank is about the same for the round and oval gas tanks, Ford decided it was not necessary to space the oval tank up to match the round tank’s gas cap location. There may have been a drawing of a bracket to...

Hydro lock happens on engine startup, after a shutoff engine leaking coolant, or as in the case of a modern race car, leaks fuel into the cylinder. I would think that after trying to drive a early 1915 T at night with the electric head lights that went from very dim, to overly bright, to burned out bulbs as the engine speeded up, some car owners went back to what worked, the gas lamps that they could still buy from Ford. By later in 1915 Ford a...

To add to what Wayne said, the body itself is a 1922. Note the front top bracket is some what dropped for the front seat two man top mount. On a 1921 body that mount is straight and on a 1923 body that mount isn’t there due to the 1923 cars having a one man top and a sloping windshield.
