This 26 tank had been in a barn loft for no telling how long. I soaked it in a electrolysis tank for 2 weeks. I had no issues using a propane torch to solder this copper repair patch to it.

I feel like that is the only reason I was able to afford to buy my parts of a Republic Truck is because the seller just had it listed as "old truck parts".
Someone far away needing a radiator or transmission for a Republic would never find it listed that way.

Apparently some folks aint worked as hard as i have to build up a chassis. to me if the radiator is good, that should be worth the 1500. If you pull the top cover on the transmission and the drums aint cracked, that's a good thing.

I have been restoring some old Briggs and Stratton engines this winter and the vinyl decals I have been using,are lousy! They don't stick to a painted metal surface very well around the edges. I can' only imagine how much they would peel on wood or thin sheet metal.

OK I just used a browser i recently learned about Brave and did a search for recharging magnets in a model T and several links came up to bring folks to this forum.
If you haven't tried Brave you might want to. I find it great for Youtube when I am listening to music and such as it blocks ads.

There are some valve stem exstentions that are made for modern tires so a hub cap doesn't block the valve stem but I don't know if they would fit thru the hole in the rim if need be to get up high enough.

The US "EPA" is currently attacking Cummins for allegedly gassing the polar bears. I rode in 1 when I went to detroit and it was odd to look around on a Model T body and not see any pitting or what not.most of the time we miss a detail here and there and you can look and spot it,but nothing of the sort! Odd experience.

It cost me a 100 bucks to get a bond for my T pickup. And no looking over my shoulders or black Crown vics with badged robots carrying big guns in uniforms coming to get me. Well worth it.
