Chev valve spring keepers and retainers

I am finishing a late 13 block someone else started. The block has had seats installed, ground and guide reamed to accept what I believe are chev valves that have been included. Are there any brackets I'm missing? On my survivor car, you can see where one used to be attached to the ...

Re: 23 Coupe

20220806_194251.jpg My opinion is like someone else said about the suicide door coupes on the forum before, if it was after June in 1923, it wasn't a 23, the 24's were out and they were redesigned and the doors hinged from the front and states varied as to what year they gave the car. I know someon...

Re: Show us your hit n miss engines

[image][/image] These are 2 of my engines. The green devil is a 1922 6hp Fairbanks throttler and the other is a 1912 4hp United. The 6hp has been used to run my early 1900's Frank Machinery 16" planer.

Re: 14 T lit up after a 20 year nap

Allan you're right, a shiny new radiator would stick out like a sore thumb. Bad enough a new top is needed to be usable. A friend suggested getting it dirty on a dusty road. Here's a picture of the engine after some check out

14 T lit up after a 20 year nap

20200918_210422.jpg Just brought this Touring home. Awakened this devil after a twenty year nap. Has cast pistons, original interior, 15 hood. Had to drill drain holes in valve galleys, about a quart of oil was trapped in them. Fan belt was like a potato chip. Would Brassworks rebuild the radiator?
