Re: We have arrived "Iola or Bust"
Hi Donnie and Mrs Donnie,
As proven by your previous skill and judgement, I am after a 1918 T coupe body of (aka R D quality) with suicide doors and strap style window lifts. Mechanical condition, if any is not important. Could be same deal as with R D. Have fun and be safe. ...Neil.

Shawn, You don't need glass tape for bobbin plate repairs, I have repaired many > 30 volt AC Model T bobbin plates and rewound and taped thousands of >240 volt AC coils using linen tape. The important item is the insulating varnish used to secure the coils from vibrating. Where are you in VIC ? Send...

There is an issue with the electronic type of coil tester and the Model T trembler coil capacitors.

B-Z-B,
Could you please explain how the rotating spark set up works compered to the normal spark ring as fitted to the earlier HCCT. All I can see is the spark holder fitted on the HCCT shown in this thread.
Thanks...n.

Would be interesting to know how you can check a coil for double sparking on this tester seeing that this tester doesn't seem to have a spark indicating ring fitted... or am I missing something?..
Or is it only for checking Spark plugs, Horns and Magneto coil rings...n.

Ignacio, 1a...I would rasp or course sand down the ends of the brake linings between the lining ends and the two rivets, the end of the linings are sticking out past the diameter of the steel drum. 1b...I would pull the brake rod clevis pin to allow the brake shoe cam to centralise. 2...I would put ...

The brake cam lobe faces the front as in the photo but the actuating lever should be facing to the rear towards the axle tube when the whole unit is riveted togethe...

Ignacio, Just following up on your speedster build and noticed an error regarding the rear brake photo dated Monday April 12 2021 1.30am. I feel that you have the brake lever (could be off the other side) in the wrong position. In the off position the lever should be close to the axle tubes to give ...

Speedytinc, " Your most of the teeth removed" is standard and is to allow the starter pinion to mesh with the ring gear.
