Re: T's In The Snow
I've driven my T's in snow lots of times and most of them without doing anything special to them. For a number of years in our small town, Santa arrived in a Model T for the Holiday celebration. There have been a few times when the snow was deeper, that I wrapped a rope around the back wheels as men...

Re: WTB bottom seat cushion 1911 runabout
Below is the seat cushion Bob is looking for. It was used for the 1911 Torpedo and 1911 Open Runabouts and some of 1910 & 1911 Roadsters with the Mother-in-law seat. The springs are 36" wide, 18" deep with it pinching down in the center to 17" (see lousy photo below). The padding adds about 1" to th...

Re: What Oil Should I Use in My Fip Top Oilers?
I agree with the majority view and use bar oil on all of them . . . EXCEPT on the spindle oilers. If the bushings are new/tight, I use regular engine oil (10-30). If they are worn, then they get bar oil too.

Ideas for a column throttle and foot-feed combination (Pre-1926)
What are the different ways of making a combination throttle control on a Model T? I'm looking for one that uses the standard lever on the steering column and also a foot-feed on a pre-1926 engine with the standard NH carb. A System that gives you the same combination as a model A.
