sidelight brackets, a pair for center door sedans
These are original brackets. Some service rust, but are nice. For the center door sedan. Some have used them on other closed Model Ts. $85 with the ride in the lower 48.

The are too many factors to consider to set a price. Are real nice, running T engine from the 1920s could be worth $1000, more or less. a common used one in unknown condition, perhap $400. A rear nice 1909 engine, all complete with original parts is worth a real bundle, at least $15,000. 10 years ag...

The 1911 Torpedo Roadster is a early one made in 1910. It has the square gasoline tank which was used only on the very first made. The early 1911 catalog illustrates this style with the square tank. This example also has the 1910 style horn, rather than the one usually found on original 1911 Torpedos.

I also have the news letters sent out to the Ford dealers each month ( a run of them for 3 or 4 years in the mid 1920s.)

Re: Steve Jelf in bad accident
Steve is not able at this time to manage his affairs. If this remains, usually a close family member will do so, with court approval. If a family member does not take this role and Steve can not manage his affairs, the court will appoint someone. Has anything been done so far?

Re: Planning a visit to the Henry Ford Museum
I first visited the museum in 1955 when it was still called the "Edison Institute." Henry named it after is good friend and buddy. All the cars were lined up and you could examine any of them up close. My friend, Less Henry, who was in charge of the auto collection, gave me a personal tour back stag...

Re: Does anyone know the history of this T?
We all can tell what it is. I often see Model Ts advertised by members that call them "original". Ts are original only if as originally made. I know of one 1910 in CA that is the closest to "original" that can be at this time. There are a few out there.

Re: Does anyone know the history of this T?
Rather than picking it apart, making fun of it, accept it as is and enjoy it. The world is full of "speedsters" made up out original and repro parts., and we dod not make fun oif most of them, we just drive them and have fun. If original parts were used, the use of them saved them.

Tom, you have built several 1911 bodies over the years and offered 1911 T to be finished by others, I have met you at Chickasha serveral years ago. You took over the Morrow Bay fenders works. I bought new fenders from my 1910 from that outfil back in the late 1950's. So I assume this is a new body. ...

Re: Back in the saddle
Is the body an original or new one? A 1910 wood covering or a 1911 metal over wood. The door pannels give the impression it may be a 1910 style. It does have a one peice spindle front axle and what seems to be a 1911 or 1911-12 rear end.. 1911 running boars are available reproduced. I see it will be...

Re: What did people wear in USA between '16 and '20?
People always dressed up when on an "outing". My father, who was born in 1902, dressed up as an adult. Photos of him in the 1920s show him in "Sundays to go to meetings" when on picnics and with other family events. I will look for some photos. Also in the 1920s, men's suits usually had a belt in ba...

There are three different bodies on the 1909s. The aluminum one, a wood one by "Ponitiac" and a wood one by Wilson. Some member should tell us which one had the door handle in that location.
