Tail Lite Wiring
I'm going to be adding an additional wire to my tail-lights on my 26 coupe for the brake light. Does anyone know of a loom or sleeve that I could use for these wires or should I just wrap them with friction tape. Thanks

I did remove the slides and the brackets along with the windshield. I can't understand the brackets with the stud for the adjustment knobs only will on one way. So what changed?

26-27 coupe windshield frame
I reinstalled the original windshield frame back into the body. The brackets that are riveted to the frame hit the posts that the knob for the sliders attach to and the brackets that the knob screws into is out of alignment with the sliders. There are no adjustments that I can find. Boy is this hard...

Re: 26 - 27 Rear brake drum question
I don't have hard time. I have the shoe off the car and attach the spring. Then I put the shoe on the backing plate and then push one of the shoe tabs on the cam and then use a screwdriver and pry the other on. It works for me.

Just an idea
I haven't put in the interior in my 26 coupe yet. I notice that the battery box is just aft of the drivers door area and easy to get to, while the original way to the battery is climbing forward in the trunk area. Was thinking fo attaching the seat back to the package shield with a couple hinges so ...

I took my 26 coupe out for a test drive this morn. It's still pretty stripped mainly just the body on the Chassis. But, running it in the garage it runs good so when I drove it on the road here in western Va. where all roads go either up or down I was surprised the it had a hard time climbing a 10% ...

Caulking Recommendition
Earlier in the year I asked a question about applying sealant before I installed my top bows on a 26 coupe, Bob Booth answered and recommended a sealant made by Locktite but, I can't remember what it was and can't find the old message. If anyone would know wha to use let me know I'd appreciate it. T...

Is the wooden seat frame the same size of the bottom of the seat springs? had a new seat frame made for my 26 coupe, I didn't have one for a sample so I had a cabinet maker wing it from some photos, never thought about using the springs as a pattern. Setting my springs on it it is about 1 1/2" all w...

Re: What have you done with your T in September?
I've been working on my 26 coupe for a couple years, I bought it in 1962, and the last time it ran was 1965 till today. I finally was at the point to put the radiator on it. It cranked over with the started about twice and ran like a top, ran for about 15 min. I idled it down and you could count the...

Tail Light Wiring on 26 Coupe
I'm not exactly sure how the tail light wire goes. I'seen in vendors catalogs a wiring installation kit for the taillight. Not sure what the flat piece with the 3 holes and spring do and also the grommets with pigtails is for. Any help would be appreciated.

Re: How did you acquire your T?
I was bitten by the Model t bug when I was 14 years old in 1961. I had a paper route and saved up enough money to serious looking, i was asking everyone if they knew of any old cars, I saw loads mostly setting in falling down barns or in fence rows. One kid in school I asked and he said his brother-...

I've gotten most of the frame on now I notice there is about an1/8 gap between the top of the metal body and the underside of the frame I believe the rabbet was cut to deep. Is that going to cause a problem when I install the roof covering and the beading?

Radiator Apron Not Fitting Right
I went to put on the original apron that I removed over 50 years ago on a 26 coupe. When the crank hole and screw below hole is aligned up, the 2 tabs that go over the radiator studs are about a 1/2" above the frame. I don't remember anything between the tabs and the frame, am I wrong. I'd appreciat...

I have a 26 coupe. Does anyone use any kind of sealer between the rubber gasket and the body metal? Also the qtr window I've tried so far doesn't make an even contact all around. I've cleaned the channel well so there isn't any junk in it but it still isn't making good contact. Any suggestions Thanks
