Remember, the magneto is putting out variable frequency / variable voltage AC, not DC. You will probably need a diode in the circuit and that will cause a .7v DC drop.

I just measured several cars here at the Piquette Plant. The splash aprons were all 57" at the top edge. I measured 1912 Runabout and Touring, and 1914, 1915 and 1916 Tourings

P, H and K stand for Prudden, Hayes and Kelsey. Did other companies make wheels for the Ford cars before 1911? From the Model A to the early Model Ts.

Wood Wheel Splice Plates
When did the wheel manufacturers start using embossed letters on the splice plates? Looking at many of the cars here at the Ford Piquette Plant, I see many of the wheels have no letter at all on the Models A through S. Some other cars have an H (Hayes) or P (Prudden) on the splice plate.
