I can help with the switch and panel, minus the ammeter. The switch and panel are in very good order. If you have a need for the starter switch it would indicate that your car has a starter and generator. If this is the case, then the correct horn is a battery horn. The rear brackets move the spring ahead of the rear axle and have longer shackles to get the "drop". To attach the rear spring to the frame, Faultless provided an extra arched cross member ...

Two tools have T numbers: T 2839 and T5893. There is also 9N 17014 which is likely a tractor tool.
T2839 is the wire wheel lug wrench. You could also use 5Z-161. They are both "T" shaped wrenches.
T5893 is the wrench for the spark plug and the cylinder hesd cap screws.

Your early main bearing wrench is 3Z-619. Not all of them are marked.

Re: Dairyland Tin Lizzie's Model T University

I will be there again with some of my "Model T junk" to "Show and Tell". Also, some of my extra Ford Z tools will be for sale. We got back Sunday evening from The Winter Model T Clinic at McPherson College in McPherson, Kansas. It was 1500 miles round trip, but it was well worth it for the great pre...

If you had a hubcap wrench for 1926-27, Ford made a change to fit that condition.

Michael A,
If you think that the Noera Mfg. can with the patent information stamped on the cover, like the photos that you posted, is right for your 1912, I have an extra one like that. Send a private message for more information.

Re: oil can 1912

I do not know for sure which oil can is proper for a 1912 Model T, but I think the Noera Mfg. Co. with the double Ford scripts, and the Maple City with the double Ford scripts are the earliest. I think that is what Larry Smith was referring to in his comment. I may be wrong, but I do not know if any...

I wonder if .010 is too tight on the exhaust valves? Doesn't Stipe recommend .010 on intake, and .012 on exhaust?

Re: side curtains 1927 runabout pickup

Even though this NOS side curtain is labeled for 1925, I think that it is actually for 1926-27 roadsters. The "sockets" that are installed inside the rear top bows on 1926-27 roadsters and tourings must have the extra lip to project through the grommets on the rear side curtains. ( I think Larry Smi...

Re: Tail Light ID

This type of tail lamp was used from 1919 through 1923 on the Model T's with starters and generators. I would imagine some probably could have been on some 1924 models before they starting using the new type tail lamp assembly with the license bracket, as noted by Larry Smith. The tire carrier still...

The 1915 horn does not need to be a Rubes horn. Standard and Nonpareil also supplied the bulb horns to Ford. These two horns were made by Standard. The black horn pictured has a reed, and is actually quite loud.

Adam is right about paint sometimes coming off in chunks, leaving clean, bare steel. This example is an original well preserved 1922 coupe that reportedly had nice original paint until it got stored in a cold damp steel pole barn in Wisconsin. There is no sign of any primer under the black paint on ...

I found another piece of HIMICO literature recently that is probably later than the other photos that I posted in August when you bought the HIMICO from Model T Haven. Because this piece has the wide pedals like a stock 1926-27 Model T engine, rather than the narrow paddles like the earlier engines,...

Here is a nice pair of support braces for the windshield on a 1914 touring or roadster. The lower end of one was broken and will need to be repaired. $40 for the pair, including shipping.
