Here's a picture of an Ambulance of the AFS, it has a brass radiator so is a '15 or '16 model chassis and has aftermarket demountables, the five lug demountable wheels were made by Firestone i believe.

A wheel that needs repaired to be drivable should be rebuilt properly, a repair with 'Quick Poly' or other so-called wood-rot-stoppers is only acceptable for static display.
Driving with "Fixed" wheels is going to get you or others hurt, don't do it.

Re: What The----?
Yes it is a simple barometer or 'Thunderglass" it will not give you accurate readings but it will tell if airpressure is rising or falling, and thus give an indication of weather change over the horizon. If airpressure is dropping, the level in the spout will rise, and with depression comes bad weat...

Re: Model T philosophy: What is a restoration?
Let us define what is and what is not a restoration; To restore something means to rebuild to a standard as close to new state when originally built as possible. To preserve is to do anything to maintain an object in its present state, keeping it's history intact. To recreate is to build an object f...

*Required* does not do ?
Dear Admins, Have a look at the Off Topic , the last post in "To the Prom" thread shows the *Required* entry of cars owned is just as easily circumvented by a Bot as if it was not there ! I am very impressed with your ongoing efforts to keep ahead in this 'Arms race' , hope you find a way to keep 't...

Re: Ford model T 1909
I am getting a bit fed up with the build year/model year discussion every time an early car comes up for sale, this may be a car from the 1910 year model, but enough evidence is provided that it was not only built but also shipped and sold in 1909. That makes it a genuine and bona fide 1909 car in m...

Funny picture, what strikes me as odd is that on most pictures from the era you see working men dressed in shirt and vest with neck ties and everything, but in this case they are wearing coveralls while the caption of the photo says 'fancy dress parade'

Just found out that a Farthing was the smallest British coin, the value was a 1/4 old Penny, the farthing was discontinued in 1961. An old Penny was considerably biggrr than a Farthing (Farthing comes from 'fourth')

Just this morning there was an item about a race in Hayes, UK. By the way, the name 'Penny Farthing' comes from two british coins of the day, a big one and a smaller one. That is a great truck, but what caught my eye is how ornate the Heinz factory buildings are, that took some serious time and money to build em that fancy. Today its all about efficiency and that is why industrial areas all are filled with the same big square boxes, i wish companies would spend some ...

Seems you ruled out all other possibilities and the coils are the culprits, although coils tend to like a little more than 12V, the car should run decent on battery. Check all contacts, check the coil box for carbon trails (there was a recent post on that, https://www.mtfca.com/phpBB3/viewtopic.php?...

What i understand from your story is that the car ran fine on the True fire, the car ran fine too on the first regular timer and coils you installed for the first ten minutes or so, and when you changed out the timer for another known good timer kept missing some beats. Sounds to me like a fuel prob...

Re: I think it’s flooded.
The picture of the TT and trailer full of Jackrabbits reminds me of a rather grim story from my youth, I was a member of a glider club from when i was about 13 years old, it must have been around 1974 when there was a terrible infestation of rabbits, the grass airfield was one big pothole, which mad...
