Re: Headlights with 2 bulbs
My non-starter late 1915 Brass Touring has two bulb buckets. I know that previous owners (I am at least the 3rd) installed some "accessories"- wood trim for example. Could it be that a previous owner also went through the trouble to install dual bulb buckets? The car came to me with Magneto bulbs, a...

Lang's does indeed have a HUGE inventory of used parts. If in doubt, call and ask.

Thanks for the feedback John. I have been using the Fun Projects Magneto Battery charger,.,,,(diode & light bulb) but also using a battery tender when the T is not being used . Interesting that you have had good results using the Mag output. What are you using to harness some of the mag output to ch...

12 volt belt driven alternator WTB
Anyone have a 12 volt belt driven alternator kit that they no longer need? Age is catching up to me, and I've decided to modify my 1915 Touring to have an electric starter. The car is adjusted quite well- starts easily on a quarter turn or two - (Thanks Ron !) problem is "operator error" - a stall i...

Re: touring in a 1922 centerdoor
Mine had a standard rear (no Ruxtell). My Centerdoor was HEAVY - I think that all of them are. Start adding passengers, and you will find that you are the slowest in the tour. RIde was "so-so"...a bit "tippy" though..it is top heavy compared to other models.

There used to be a product sold that allowed the insertion of an electric bulb into the oil taillight without any modifications. The device was simply a snap ring with a bulb socket soldered to it, and the ring sat just inside the open lens cover. (Yes, wiring to a power source was necessary). I bou...

After you have driven the car, and parked it, and turned the engine off, do you leave the handbrake on, or do do push the handbrake fully forward, thus "putting it into high gear" until you go to start it another day?

Allan, With all due respect re: flaps vs. rim liners....with a clincher, the tube will be pinched between the tire beads (walls) long before it can possibly contact the rim liner. The flap keeps the tube within the confines of the tire. Now, with a different tire, a rim liner may suffice, but not wi...
