Re: Ross speedster steering gear F/S
Hi Layden,
It is the first time I heard about Ross speedster steering gear. What is the advantage of this kind of steering for a speedster ? Do we need to do some adjustment to fit in a Model T ?
Thx

Re: Help for mesurement about reflector for Gas Headlight
Thank you John,I had intalled the 3 back edge where flathead screws would go to hold the mirror in place, but it had the gap which not allowed me to keep the mirror in place. Lang's do not have the insulation pads that go between the back of the mirror and the bottom of the headlight. You may know ...

Sad Day to hear this. Tony was a true gentlemen. His beautiful 1909 was sold to a friend of mine and it is in good hands. I was also so impressed about his famous speedster. All my best wishes to his family for this difficult moments. Big lost for our T community. RIP Tony.

Help for mesurement about reflector for Gas Headlight
I found an 1914 original glass mirror Reflector for gas headlight in usable condition but it's appear the diameter is too small and doesn't fit. Someone know what is the correct measurement ? The actual glass I have is 6''. The head light I have is Corcoran Lamp Co made for Ford Cin'ti. Also, if yo...

Re: 1914 rear end leaks
Brazing might be the best solution, but I used JB Weld and made screws with rivet heads to joint it. I painted it liberally to add to the sealing. One has sealed well for 20 years and the other for 8. 14Rr3.jpg 14Rr1.jpg 14Rr2.jpg Hi Rich, I like your solution. what did you do with the nuts of the ...

Re: Repairing Plastic Coils
Hi Harry, Hope you doing well. Sometimes when the plastic is not solder or bond to the case, I use a C clamp to distort the case itself and I'm able to removed one side with a flat tiny tool. After you dig carefully in the tar and you have access to the capacitor. Replace it, heat the tar again and...

Hi, the question to ask is more about the capacitor... Most of the time is impossible to replace them on plastic coils This is advice from someone with VERY LITTLE or NO EXPERIENCE in the matter. It would be nice if people would refrain from entertaining themselves by adding their two cents worth t...

Re: Set of 4 Plastic case ignition coils for sale
Hi, the question to ask is more about the capacitor... Most of the time is impossible to replace them on plastic coils instead of wood coils. For that reason I prefer wood coils. To know if the capacitor is good, better to use Mike Kossor ECCT machine. Plastic coils are also good when the capacitor...
