Re: Tires for Model T--4.50 x21 Lucas olympic

I have them on a roadster now for 2 years. About 1200 miles on them and they look new. So far, good tire.

Re: Need help on wood and sheet metal. 1923 touring canada

I have a 1924 Canadian Touring. High cowl. The Canadian car still had a 5 piece back at this time. The top iron mounts come out on the top rear area, not through the body. Saddles for the top are not used on the Canadian Touring of this configuration. Instead it a clamp which opens and holds all the...

Re: Notice to MTFCA members outside the U.S.

We just received ours yesterday. No worries on the delay as I am sure the postal people are quite overwhelmed at this point.

Re: 1925 roadster roof install question

Scott, The problem is the front "windscreen" is about 16inches too long compared to the pictures I have seen anywhere. It is cut square on the ends and sewn nicely. Just seemed strange that it would need to be cut down that much. It is similar to the one in the second post you mention but the instru...

Re: 1925 roadster roof install question

Thank you for the pictures and info. I think I can get it from here on. Not sure why the piece is made about 8-10 inches longer on each end and sewn. It's a big rectangle that is too thick to roll into place anywhere and the instructions are very vague.

1925 roadster roof install question

Installing the roof covering kit. Not sure how the front flap is to be installed at the corners. Do I cut it? Pictures anyone?

Re: Moto Meter Problem

You may be onto something with the overflow pipe. It does come up quite high compared to my others. I had to take the meter apart to get the water out. I have since added silicone under the rubber gasket but no chance to try it yet.

Moto Meter Problem

I just installed a new motometer and gull wing cap. I put the rubber gasket between the meter and cap and tightened it up. A few miles and I see water filling up the meter. (Overfilled the rad). How did the water get up in there? Never had this problem with two of my other cars.
