We are dealing with an estate T that has a Sure Fire ignition. The literature I have says 12 volt only, but owner says NO, 6 VOLT!!
Did they ever come for 6 volt??

mbowen The horn button on this T is on the steering column. I suspect know that this one may be painted in or secured with adhesive. :@((
Does yours have what appears to be a set screw in one of the forks aiming at the center steering shaft?

How do I remove this lockable steering wheel? There appears to be a button at the centre that likely should pop out and then something underneath must be loosened, BUT, how do you get that 3/4" button out? Anyone recognize the brand of it?

We all can wish that what we have is worth more than it likely is, but wishing is cheap. Reality is fact.
I was after "original" pricing which I have now (Thanks to Steve Jeff) from the MTFCA encyclopedia.

Thanks Tony, maybe someday we can do an article on current pricing.

Copper topped coils

What is history on Copper Topped coils vs Brass topped coils?
Should the copper be 'just copper' in appearance? polished? clear coated?

They appear to be less in numbers from what I've seen when collecting 'metal topped' coils.

All I get when I google EMF is "Electromagnetic field" I've heard EMF before, but never knew what is stood for. Can you elaborate, please.

1914 RHD T. Canadian Built, exported to New Zealand and returned in early 90's Plate is newer, but The NZ helps viewers at S & S. You Brits should get a kick out of the door wording . .

Thanks Guys, The chair thoughts likely are closer to reality than T. I thought maybe a T Speedster with the curved pieces being for the firewall or seat back.
