It made my day when you called to inform me that you and your Dad made it home safely.

All die cast or cast iron. The hex caps are new. The stove is vented through the stack (if your radiator steams, it will come out the stack like smoke). The jacks are true Simplex jacks.

Re: WTB Hogshead Spacer for Model "A" crank conversion
That engine was a real barn burner. I rode in Andy's white T Touring many times out on the interstate. Andy would pull up along side someone, honk/wave and then drive away from them just laughing

I was under the impression that "Henry" offered the bare running chassis so that the purchaser could modify to their specific desires e.g. trucks, tractors, snowflyers. To each his own. Being the shade tree mechanic/engineer that I am, I have opted to upgrade all three of my Ts for safety reasons (l...

I read several years ago about a Model T based V8. Does anyone know it one of these engines still exists?
I love the look of the tandem 4 cylinders. I had never seen one until today. Is that the way that the multiple engine pulling tractors do it?

Bruce,
I purchased an Atwater Kent front plate earlier this year to rebuild as it needs work. I paid $125. Remember mine needs work.

My brother's modern car had that same issue but it was caused by a semi turning right and driving over the hood. HA!

Dumb thought on my part because I have never seen one in person, but would the ones with the opposite thread cut be for a right hand drive hogs head? If so, I would be interested in them. I am trying to collect all the pieces necessary to build a the speedster.

My thought would be to plan your route and then find fellow T people along the route as emergency contacts for any BIG problem that you may encounter that can't be fixed under a tree. Don't forget your cell phone.

Don't ever tell someone that is trying to purchase your product, "You can't afford it". I had a gentleman call me yesterday about a particular Model A engine aftermarket part (listed in the MTFCA parts classifieds) that I was inquiring about. Through the discussion this what he told me and I quote "...

Ryan,
I have the radiator from Bob's in my possession. I am re-packaging so that it will fit in my daughter's car trunk. She and her spouse will be in Nashville July 27th thru July 29th. I will give her your contact information so that you can pick it up. By the way, it is a very nice radiator.

Around here, most of us call Osage Orange, Hedge Apple. It is a nuisance plant dropping its softball sized seed balls all over.
We have found 3 uses.
1: fence rows
2: fire wood. Burns VERY hot. Eats chainsaw chains!!!
3: seed balls are a fine rodent deterrent

I just looked up the definition of "spontaneous combustion". Linseed oil was a specific example. Oxidation of a material crea...
