Does this help? Look at page 42; http://www.cimorelli.com/mtdl/1914/default.htm
Mark, thanks, but that link just leads to a page with a lot of 1914 Ford literature. Which ofthe documents do you have in mind?

What am I missing here - Kingston Y 4-ball

After having browsed eBay and this sites classified, it turned out that I could find one to a good price just 10 miles from home. So no need to import from US, shipping and customs fees and what have you. But taking it apart for renovation, it seems I'm missing some parts and browsing the vendors ca...

Any experience with Kingston "Y" 4-ball carburetor?

I know the phrasing - if it works - don't fix it! - but even though my 1914 Touring is driving extremely well with the aftermarket Toquet carburetor, I am aiming for making this car as close as original as possible (except for the necesary flashers, 2-3 stoplight etc) and I believe the Toquet is som...

Mark, I bought this carburetor from Jay in 2019, the original posting was resurrected! According to Jay, which I did contact directly, you also got the brochure. I've found these pictures of a brochure for the Toquet carburetor: Toquet_carburetor_brochure.jpeg Toquet_carburetor_brochure_2.jpeg Unfortunately they are unreadable and I'm looking for just a PDF scan of the brochure so I can read of the finesses of this fine carburetor, that sits on my 1914 Model ...

Both flashers, stoplight and two rear lightswith reflectives are mandatory on cars in Denmark. On my 1914 I bite the bullet and put modern, efficient yet discrete LED lights both front and rear. No matter what I put on it would not be original, so I might as well put something on that works: Front: ...

The operating voltage for a LED is typically around 2 V. Apart from a voltage regulator IC several LEDs may be connected in serie which means if one in that serie fails, the whole serie will fail. I have also experienced shorter lifespan of LEDs and the above suggested reason of failed soldering is ...

Hi, my 1921 Model T pickup generally runs OK, but the idle is nothing to write home about. It basicly can't go idle and when stopping for red for exampe, I have to either let it idle fast or be at the throttle all the time. The carburetor is a stock Holey NH. Now, my 1914 Model T touring have an aft...

These observations underpins Mike Kossers philosphy behind the ECCT. Back in the day when you tested and adjusted 4 coils out of the same batch, you will most likely have coils with similar inductance, resistance etc since they are built of the same copper wire, the same number of turns etc. When us...

I think it is something you mount on the tie rod (but where will the ends be? At the axle?) to limit wobble and shimmy.
