Re: Holly NH carburetor leak

Sometimes the surface can have some pitting and the gas can leak past it and make it look like the needle and seat are leaking. Also, make sure there is not an old gasket still down in the bore where the needl...

In the two T’s I have that are crank start only, I use a small 12 volt, 12 ah sealed lead acid battery. They are usually around $25 on Amazon. I use them for running the could during startup and to run my turn signals. I normally only recharge them a few times a year and replace them every few years.

It’s definitely camshaft gear backlash you are hearing. Like Mark said it’s caused by the valve springs putting pressure on the tappets when they pass over the cam lobe.

For Sale: Tires and Tubes Hershey delivery

SOLD! This is a used set of 4 Universal T Driver tires and 4 rubber stem tubes. (2) 30x3 and (2) 30x3.5 These tires are about 15 years old. They have about 5/32” to 6/32” of tread remaining. I removed them due to some sidewall cracking. They would be good to use as rollers or for a car that just go...

Re: Hershey turn out

Hershey is still an amazing swap meet and an incredible event that everyone in the old car hobby should experience. If you can’t find what you are looking for, then you aren’t looking hard enough! I’m my opinion, one of the biggest things hurting Hershey attendance is everyone posting online about h...

Re: Both Vintage Ford n Model T Times came today

Received both issues here.

I've often thought it would be nice if the two clubs could get together and stagger the month of their issues. Instead of getting both on the same month, you could get one each month.

Re: If you were going to add a vin plate?

I wouldn’t add any type of vin plate on any vehicle without the instruction from the state Motor Vehicle Commission where the vehicle is titled. I would be surprised if any state is ok with someone adding a non standard plate that was not stamped by the manufacturer of the vehicle in the location of...

Easiest thing to do would be to just run the coils off of a 12 volt battery. A decent battery will last a long time without having to be recharged. One of my T’s has a non working magneto and I run it that way. Runs great! The problem I have with that is that I am currently looking to sell my car f...
